with CFC™ Therapy

Therapy Areas

CFC™ Therapy delivers consistent and measurable recovery results across multiple therapy areas
- spanning clinical medicine and elite performance -

Patient care

Cancer Support + Lymphedema

By enhancing lymphatic return, CFC™ Therapy can help patients overcome cancer therapy side effects, such as dermatitis and CIPN, using a soothing, non-contact approach. CFC™ Therapy helps support patients receiving cancer therapy as well as cancer survivors dealing with emerging or persistent lymphedema challenges.

Elite performance

Athletics

Elite athletes utilize CFC™ Therapy to enhance performance and reduce recovery time between games. CFC™ Therapy can either be integrated into training routines to manage fatigue or be used as a targeted therapy to address acute injuries.

Post-op care

Surgical + Orthopedic
Recovery

Surgical and orthopedic recovery is often hindered by fluid buildup at the injury site, leading to swelling, inflammation, and pain. By promoting lymphatic flow and fluid clearance, CFC™ Therapy helps reduce these effects, supporting faster healing and improved mobility.

Wellness

From massage therapy to dermatology and cosmetic treatments, lingering fluid buildup can impact results and prolong irritation. Managing this congestion is key to minimizing puffiness, sensitivity, and post-treatment discomfort. CFC™ Therapy enhances natural fluid circulation, providing a soothing effect to help the body reset while optimizing recovery.

The Problem

The fluids in our vascular system must remain in constant motion. When vascular flow is impeded, the condition of fluid stasis emerges, triggering a cascade of negative health consequences. At some point in life, everyone experiences fluid stasis and its associated symptoms - swelling, inflammation, and pain.

When the body’s natural clearance mechanisms are compromised, the ability to resolve fluid stasis without intervention can be severely limited.  Left to persist, fluid stasis complicates recovery from athletic exertion, as well as medical conditions.

Unresolved fluid stasis may contribute to irreversible damage to both venous and lymphatic return systems. Furthermore, fluid stasis represents a major barrier to effective recovery and performance in athletic populations.

From a source of daily discomfort to a cause of life-altering debilitation, fluid stasis is highly prevalent yet inadequately treated. Addressing fluid stasis is a matter of national concern due to its impact on recovery outcomes and healthcare spending.

Fluid Stasis Overview

The Solution

Slipstream Solutions, LLC has developed the Freeflow™ System to deliver Contactless Fluid Clearance (CFC)™ Therapy as a way to comprehensively manage recovery.

The therapy’s underlying mechanism of action enables the conditioning and directed transport of fluids from areas of stasis into the body’s lymphatic and venous return systems.

By using the Freeflow™ System, clinicians can now deliver Contactless Fluid Clearance (CFC)™ Therapy to clear  fluid stasis conditions and rapidly relieve instances of Swelling, Inflammation, and Pain associated with Acute Trauma & Surgery.

CFC™ Therapy is both systemic and site-specific, while remaining individualized to each athlete or patient’s anatomy and condition. The non-contact approach is particularly important for patients with hypersensitive skin, such as cancer patients, or for working around surgical incisions.
Freeflow™ has demonstrated sustained benefit
for patients:
  1. Rapid clearance of fluid stasis and related symptoms (swelling, inflammation, and pain)
  2. Rapid resolution of cancer therapy side effects such as dermal toxicity and CIPN, including patients with hypersensitive skin conditions
  3. Faster range-of-motion recovery with improved mobility following surgery/trauma
  4. Focused pain reduction, minimizing or eliminating systemic pain medication (and addiction risk)
  5. Compression-free recovery and sustained volume reduction for lymphedema patients
